Event capacity & automatic waitlisting
How the automatic waitlist triggers when capacity is reached.
The Waitlist Queue
If your event has limited space, you can set a Maximum Capacity limit in the event settings.
Once RSVPs reach this limit, any additional guest attempting to respond 'Going' is placed in an orderly, prioritized Waitlist. If a confirmed guest cancels their reservation, the first person on the waitlist is automatically promoted to 'Going' and notified via email/SMS.

Hosts can manually promote waitlisted guests or override the capacity limit at any time from the Guest List manager.
